because i love people who love each other

and am not afraid to let them know its ok to be who they are and love one another and be committed to one another and that is all that REALLY matters to this child of god.

stop the hate, judgment and discrimination and let love rule!

Marriage is an Covenant between Man and Women. Not between same sex person.

If Jesus us yoru idol then look at the scripture verses before writting.

joshua ... that is an interesting point of view. i would suggest, the following:

read all scriptures and not just the modern ones ... there's more to scripture than the bible. read paul's letter to the thessalonians ... what scripture was he speaking of? what did he read? what did jesus read? the bible is a very new scripture as the ancient scriptures go, try reading some more god-inspired writings called scriptures ... those that paul was speaking about in the bible.

and to your other comment:

jesus is not my idol unlike most people who worship him. i actually use his teachings in my day-to-day life. marriage is not a covenant between a man and a wife ... the only people who say that are other humans. we humans can define it however we want, inasmuch as god most certainly never did. and, jesus most certainly did not.

in fact, i would wonder if when jesus was asking peter "peter, do you love me" if "Christians" even know what real love is. (insofar as "on you i build my church" and peter is the symbol for the "Christian" church.) but, definitely those who claim to worship jesus who would use prejudice and discrimination to define something so that they are more comfortable, have no idea what "agape" even means. those are the people who worship an idol named jesus.
