Playing Christian

I have to play the Christian role.
Not the christian role that I always play, but the Christian role.  And that's when I'm going to get into trouble, no doubt.  Because so many things I do, on the face of it, look so unChristian if you don't bother to seek a clarification and just live in the reality of innuendos and rumors.  Sigh, I think I know how Jesus felt a bit with all those people and their crazy talk behind his back.

is the nature of the beast in all religions.

i appreciate the spin the new pope seems to be weaving for our time.

i wonder when we will stop the shifting of values from our core to the external imprints emotionally imposed for a design that proves us to be the monster in the mirror we fear the most.

jesus wasn't meant to be an idol.  he wanted to just teach us a thing or two about our human journey.

let's just focus on the love he tried to teach us about instead of the hate the religions want us to bare.
